  • We had a wonderful 4 night stay here recently. The welcome is friendly, the room comfortable and well equipped and the breakfast is delicious with a huge choice of cooked and cold foods.

    MD

  • Belmont is an excellent choice of B&B if you want to be in Hugh Town. It is on the edge of town but only 5-10 minutes walk from the centre and the beaches, and just a bit further to the quay.

    RL

  • Excellent value for money, spotlessly clean, great breakfasts with lots of choice and lovely fresh fruit and a really good location.

    ET

  • A real gem of a B & B, one of the best full English breakfasts I have had in a long time, in a great location, just 5 mins walk from the main area, easy access to the beach and the shops / bars.

About Belmont B&B

Belmont is a friendly, family run bed and breakfast located in a quiet area on the outskirts of Hugh Town. Within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, beaches, coastal paths and the quay, Belmont is the ideal base from which to explore the Isles of Scilly.

Marian, Steve and Kenny aim to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible. After a good nights sleep in one of our comfortable rooms, join us for breakfast. Whether you want a freshly cooked “Full English” or something lighter, it is a great way to start to your day.

Walk, hire a bike, or even an electric cart. There is plenty to see on St Mary’s from ancient stone works to wildlife, beaches to local artists’ studios and of course, there are stunning views wherever you go.

Or venture further afield (or rather to sea!) and catch a boat to another islands to explore ashore or take a trip around the uninhabited islands and rocks to see the sea life up close.
